The new Samsung Chromebook Prototype have used Sandy Bridge platform, while the prototype Chromebook Samsung introduced at CES are still using the dual-core Celeron processor. a new Chromebook introduced at Intel Developer Forum has been using Linux-based BIOS Coreboot software to speed up the booting process in 5 seconds.
